Therapy works. I know this because I have experienced it myself. I made changes I never thought were possible, and I am a happier and healthier person today because of it. It works.
I specialize working with women in their teens, 20’s, and 30’s. I’ve worked with women from different backgrounds and life stories, and I honestly enjoy helping someone figure out what they need to change so that they can lead a happier and more fulfilled life. It can be a really scary process, but with a good therapist it gets much easier. I want to work with you in therapy at a pace that stretches you to grow but doesn’t overwhelm you. I will respect your boundaries and wishes while encouraging you to explore options. A commitment to therapy lends itself to accountability, as well, so if you need someone to call you on your stuff I can do that, too.
I am a certified yoga teacher, and focus on holistic healing ~ mind, body, & spirit, and teach holistic techniques to help control anxiety and depression. What does this mean? It might look like some holistic techniques (think breathing exercises, meditation skills, etc.) in therapy sessions. I’ll help you figure out how to bring them into your own life so that you can use these techniques when you need them the most.
